This is a 7:30 minute video that they used to start the recent RADIO INK magazine, “CONVERENCE” conference. This was a radio industry conference to start the industry talking about where we have come in the past 10 years and where we will be going in the next 10 years. With a healthy, respectful look at the unbelievable way that technology and the world around us is changing, they want to start Radio statagizing on how to deal with it. (actually, Media is probably the better word than Radio going forward… as you will see in this fascinating video.
Pay close attention. There are some facts and figures that go by quickly. You may even want to just watch it 2 or 3 times like I did initially, so you will get it all, but one thing is for sure, no matter how “cutting edge” you think you are right now, in 8 minutes you will feel so far behind it will astound you.
